Alongside one-to-one spiritual direction, SDUK hosts facilitated online spaces for reflection, spiritual practice and shared conversation. In time we may offer in-person events and retreats.
Some sessions are quiet and spacious. Some are more practical. Some draw on the seasons, nature, prayer, contemplation, discernment or the more interesting questions you may carry through your daily life.
We are starting small, because we want to listen to you, so we can offer what our community is asking for. Our first regular group session is The Reset.
The Reset
A free online group, every 3rd Mon, 7.30pm, open to all; for noticing, listening and recentring.
Life is often faster and more complex than we can keep up with. The Reset is a simple space to stop and tune into what matters. For an hour (or less) we follow a pattern of shared reflection, a little silence and a few questions worth mulling over. We may draw on the season, the natural world, prayer, contemplation, or simple noticing practices.
Nature is one of the ways many people experience depth, aliveness, mystery, or God, but you do not need any particular language or belief to take part – just some curiosity about your spiritual life and a willingness to give it a little attention.
It is also a good way to meet one or more of the SDUK directors. There is usually time at the end for questions, so you can get a sense of who we are and whether spiritual direction might be worth exploring.
The Reset is free. No ongoing commitment. Come once, or return when it's useful or you need to reset.
