A new home for spiritual direction, exploring old and new ideas
This project is a new platform for spiritual direction aimed at anyone interested in accessing direction but particularly people beyond the usual routes — people who are spiritually curious, possibly unsure where to begin and looking for something grounded and accessible.
It’s an early build. The platform will stay intentionally small to match the demand for services with the number of directors. It is being shaped slowly with a founding group of directors who want to help build and shape it, not just use it.
Who this might suit
At this point, the project needs a small team of directors for whom:
-
Spiritual direction is, or is becoming, a significant strand of your work
-
You have a genuine appetite to grow a shared platform and reach new people
-
You have some ideas to help people discover us
-
You value collaboration, shared visibility and user-centred experimentation

Simple clarifications ...
What this is
-
A professional, fee-based platform for spiritual direction
-
Primarily remote at first
-
Rooted in a generous, spacious spiritual landscape
-
Designed for people who might never find a director otherwise
What this isn’t
-
A finished referral engine
-
A directory for passive listings
-
Therapy or counselling
-
One prescribed definition of spiritual direction
Holding this together is Bruce Stanley, founder of Day Crafting and pioneer of Forest Church. He has a long history in innovation and design around personal development and popularising spirituality.
We're gathering expressions of interest from directors who feel a strong fit with the vision and who would relish helping build the platform, not just appear on it.
This may suit you if you can offer, meaningful availability, but most importantly, active contribution to discovery (referrals, networks, writing, talks, collaborations, or experiments that help spiritually curious people find us).
If that sounds like you, please send an expression of interest with a little detail about how you fit, and we'll get back to you.
