My work grows from a long interest in how our inner lives and outer lives speak to each other. After years in environmental and international development work, I now spend my time looking after our small-holding and welcoming people into it. I’m drawn to how awareness, love, and the natural world quietly shape who we are becoming. Alongside breathwork, I offer a place to pause and notice what is stirring, and how it might be asking for care, courage or change.

My path into spiritual accompaniment has evolved slowly, rooted in a lifelong curiosity about the spiritual journey. From seeking awe and wonder in nature as a teenager to nurturing life on a small-holding today, I find myself with fewer fixed answers but a deeper connection to the rhythms of the earth. Facilitating breathwork and hosting guests on our land, I draw the earth, the breath, the elements and seasonal rhythms more fully into my practice.

I have worked in the charity sector in international development and environmental projects, with formative experiences living in Africa, alongside long-standing interests in contemplative practice and nature-based wellbeing. Along the way I have been shaped through burnout, doubt, and a sense of being on the edge. I have learnt to work with the breath, mindful reflection, and the body as ways of noticing what is happening and creating space for deeper understanding. I bring breathwork into my practice as a tool for discovering and sustaining both inner and outer journeys.

Experiential, earth-based approaches have taught me to navigate thresholds, connect inner awareness with outer engagement, and bring practical, embodied understanding into conversation. I offer a space that is grounded, patient, and attentive, where people can notice what is stirring inside and explore how it connects to their life, choices, and engagement with the world. Breath, body, connection to nature, and careful listening are at the heart of my approach, alongside curiosity, care, and attention to the wider world we share.

A place that feels thin, holy, or spiritually alive to me

Often whilst in, or by, water, be it stream or sea.

A book I return to because it stays fresh and keeps me company

Godzone by Mike Riddell is one of those books that has stayed with me since reading it as a teenager - its simple approach to life's journey still appeals.

A question I find myself living with these days

How can I be more open hearted - and remain open hearted?

A simple daily practice that steadies me

10 minutes using the coherent breathing practice.

A meal I love making for other people

Celebration Rice from Ottolenghi - warm spicy deliciousness perfect for a special gathering. It’s one that requires some commitment, which is rewarded with a happy satisfied table at the end.

A journey that changed me, outwardly or inwardly

A year in rural Kenya — it opened my eyes, showed me the realities of joy and suffering, and gave me a deeper awareness of the unexpected ways people can thrive and connect.

Something that reliably draws my attention back to what matters

My breath.

A piece of music that still stops me when I hear it

I love meaningful moving music, especially piano based. Olarfur Arnalds, Sigur Ros, Erland Cooper, Max Richter are all favourite artists - but Arvo Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel was perhaps the one that got me hooked — its simplicity and stillness make space inside me to breathe and remember what’s essential.

A moment when I realised something important had shifted for me

Realising, and accepting, I felt more connected to God outside than inside a church.

Something ordinary I find unexpectedly meaningful

Walking through our woodland and visiting the spring.
